Established since 1985, kbb Birmingham is the UK’s largest trade exhibition for the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, tile, heating and plumbing industry.

Couture and Synergy by JSB were to be found in Hall 20 along with the first showing of the TV26, the new 26" TileVision waterproof TV.

Interbuild 2009 was well attended during all four days of the show. The 19" TileVisions on the Install Automation stand worked exceptionally well during high definition demonstrations.

Macau’s City of Dreams Opens Full of TileVisions

TileVision is included in over 300 of the suites in the hotel and casino resorts in Macau's City of Dreams. Crown Towers, Hard Rock Hotel and the Grand Hyatt are all using TileVision in their world class accommodation.

TileVision Expands into the Far East

Raffles Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has installed thirty-two TileVision bathroom televisions. The hotel features 248 suites, each of which occupies at least 70 square metres and has a private balcony with panoramic views of the city.

Manchester’s new luxury Yang Sing Oriental Hotel has installed eleven TileVision bathroom televisions to help offer travellers a unique VIP experience. The Yang Sing Oriental offers a fusion of east meets west that is a unique addition to the hotel market in architecture, design, service and style.

Formerly a Grade II listed cotton warehouse it has been lovingly transformed by Manchester-based architectural designer, Roberta Fulford, into a distinctive luxury hotel, with 48 bespoke Oriental inspired rooms and suites including the magnificent 89 square meter penthouse Emperor Suite.

Gerry Yeung, the hotel’s owner, said: ‘As a businessman myself I know how tiring travel for work can be. While we also cater for leisure customers, a happy worker is a more efficient worker so we also wanted to inject a bit of fun and pampering into the typical business trip. The TileVision is one of the many features we have incorporated into making the Yang Sing Oriental the ultimate experience in terms of luxury and relaxation.’

Maybourne Hotel Group have installed 17" TileVisions in the 5-star Connaught Hotel in the heart of London’s fashionable Mayfair Village. A total of 149 TileVisions will be installed during the restoration programme.

The five star Kempinski Hotel in Dubai, a truly unique lifestyle destination in itself, has installed 23" TileVisions in a number of it’s top suites. The Presidential Suite has two Tilevisions – one in each of it’s two bathrooms.

Smartlife International magazine have not only selected TileVision as a recommended product but they have chosen to include it in their January 'Objects of Desire’ feature. Stunned by both the picture and sound quality they regard it as 'the complete waterproof viewing package’.

TileVision Hand Picked for Rookery Hall

Hand Picked Hotels has recently completed a major new building project at Rookery Hall Hotel in Nantwich, Cheshire. The project includes 39 brand new bedrooms with Hitachi 37" LCD TVs and 17" TileVision TVs in the bathrooms.

Hand Picked Hotels have also installed 38 TileVisions at Norton House near Edinburgh 16 TileVisions at Rhinefield House in the New Forest.

Seven TileVisions on the Isle of Wight

The Seaview Hotel, Isle of Wight, has installed seven TileVision bathroom TVs in a newly launched wing of modern bedrooms. An attractive Victorian retreat in the picturesque Isle of Wight sailing village of the same name, The Seaview is a twenty-four room hotel on the north-east coast of island.

Seaview General manager Andrew Morgan said: ‘The TileVisions have been installed in a new wing of seven superb bedrooms, each designed with its own dramatic detail ensuring the highest level of comfort. In the bathrooms water flows from the ceiling to fill the bath, blue lights have been meticulously carved and inserted into the bath and the TileVision is then the real icing on the cake, providing the kind of wow factor that guests can easily relate back to their friends.’

TileVision Selected for The Berkeley

The Berkeley, one of Britain’s most prestigious hotels, has installed TileVision bathroom televisions in its luxury suites.

The TileVisions are proving so popular with guests that hotel owner Maybourne intends to roll out installation of TileVision to the other hotels in the group – Claridges and The Connaught.

TileVision books into the Hilton Diagonal Mar

The Hilton Diagonal Mar hotel in Barcelona has been reviewed by HotelDesigns.co.uk ‘the hotel design source for interior designers’.

In August 2005 we supplied a quantity of 17" TileVisions for the relaxation suites. Page three of the review features the bathroom with its spa bath and 17" TileVision – ‘The television at the end of the bath has a floating remote control and a heated screen, so it is not only waterproof but doesn't steam up.’

TileVision Launches in Sweden

Badconcept – ‘Bath Concept’ – in Sweden are now making TileVision available via their new web site tilevision.se which will be available soon. They first showed TileVision at the ‘Värmlands Villamässa’ show. Värmlands Villamässa translates as Varmlands, the region; villa, a house; massa, a trade show.

17" TileVision bathroom TV in Project:LIFE

TileVision is the star of Project:LIFE

The Project:LIFE research project by David Wilson Homes in conjunction with the University of Nottingham’s School of the Built Environment is now concluded. The aim was to understand how the design of the home affects how we live together and to enable future houses to incorporate elements, including TileVision, needed for today’s lifestyles.

The Parnell family were monitored as they ‘test drove’ a specially designed house, built by David Wilson Homes in Sheffield. The findings show that the TileVision in the master bathroom was the one item which had the most impact on the family during the six month project.
